Hey Leute,

ich hab mal wieder mitn Bryan geschrieben und er meinte, dass die Tatsache, dass wir die EP kostenlos auf Soundcloud raushauen unseren ganzen Flow auf iTunes, Spotify gekillt hat. Wir waren wohl bis davor Labelspitze...

Werde die EP wieder von Soundcloud runternehmen.
Er meinte außerdem, dass in etwa 150$ von diesen ganzen Portalen eingenommen wurden. Zusammen mit in etwa 200 € aus den Verkäufen über unsere Email-Adresse/Homepage ist das schon ganz ordentlich.

in hindsight, we dont really know whether this was too soon...i mean giving it away completely for free...
but on the other hand, it's a good 1,5 years out now and we promised something really big for the 800 likes

Streaming is common for the other EPs... You guys do big stream numbers... but it takes a lot of streams to make dollars.
But that EP does nothing either way now.

Oh Mann... Das is echt hart irgendwie! Wir sollten uns wirklich noch mal überlegen, wie 'kostenfrei' wir die 3 neuen Babys raushauen! Und vor allem die EP wieder kostenpflichtig machen! 2 Monate for Free reicht schließlich!

naja ich hab gerade auf facebook angekündigt, dass die Songs nur noch bis Freitag free sind...wie das dann mit den neuen Nummern ist...hab ich n Vorschlag:

Kostenlost anhören, aber nicht downloaden.

Also wir bieten die auf unserer Facebook-Seite Stück für Stück zum Anhören an, aber zum Downloaden muss man auf iTunes kaufen...oder wie gesagt eben ne EP rausbringen, wo auch noch Heads Explode drauf ist...was meint ihr?

haha shit. ja sowas sollte man in zukunft vielleicht bisschen mit denen absprechen, hätten wir ja auch von selbst drauf kommen können.

Mit dem kostenlos anhören find ich auch gut.
Wieder ne EP pressen und verticken find ich nach wie vor blöd, ob mit Heads Explode oder ohne. Lieber gleich nur online. Machen große Bands mit ihren EPs mittlerweile ja auch so.
Wenn mans so macht ist halt ne Releaseparty wieder bisschen over the top. Muss aber auch nicht sein, wenn wir für 3 Songs (egal wie special die für uns sind) wieder ne Party schmeissen, was machen wir dann wenn wir mit Cube Audio ein Album machen sollten?

Ich fände ne gepresste Version eigentlich nicht verkehrt...das ist einfach die beste Visitenkarte.
Bei Firmen bewerben, Radiosendern dalassen, CD in die Hand und 'nuff said!

Einfach so ein schlichter aber edler zweiseitiger Aufklapper mit schönen Clueso-Bildern drauf bezahl ich notwendig auch von nur 1 Monat Saufaskese wenns sein muss. Überlegt euch das mal...

Auf jeden Fall: Anhören umsonst, Downloaden zahlen!

Ja klar, ich meinte halt dass die gepressten CDs ausschließlich für Promo und fürs Bewerben sind.

(Aber für die Hardcore Fans dann als Schallplatte limitiert auf 10 Stück! ;D)

Habe heute die Soundcloud-Songs entfernt, ab jetzt muss man sich das Ding wieder kaufen.
